17. Castle on the cloud
Also known as the Lucknow Estate, between 1913 and 1914, shoemaker and millionaire Tom Plant built this Moultonborough, New Hampshire-based structure. Its purpose is to keep in harmony with nature. Moreover, it was once his mountain escape in the Ossipee Mountains.
