16. "Danish Castle" by John Trube
Denmark is the inspiration for this castle. With the help of architect Alfred Muller, John Clement Trube (from Kiel, Denmark) built this castle in Galveston, Texas, in 1890. Trube family members are the owners and occupiers of this castle. It was the Historic Landmark of Texas in 1965.
