13. Bishop's Palace
Its previous name was Gresham Castle. It is a Victorian mansion in Galveston, Texas. Notably, the lawyer and railroad businessman Colonel Walter Gresham and architect Nicholas Clayton jointly built it between 1887 and 1892. More recently, it was the residence of the Catholic bishop.
