19. Soft drink bottle growers
In the United States, almost every home has at least a 2-liter plastic soda bottle. Usually, they are thrown into the trash or recycling bin without thinking carefully. If you have children, you might consider turning them into homemade potted plants. This can be a valuable lesson to teach your children about recycling and sustainability. You have to start with a pair of scissors, paint, and a sharpener.
Cut the bottle in half and cut the plastic to get ears like a bear, a cat, or a dog. Paint the outside of the bottle, and use a sharpener to draw the animal's face. Plants need drainage from the bottom of their planters, so you'll want to poke holes in your "legs" as well. That is a tip in our easy DIY projects.
