11. Homemade jam jar

Everyone loves a delicious jam, especially when they know it's the homemade jam. Consider making a large batch of jam and dividing it into small jars. You can also then place a custom sticker on top of the pot, as it says, "teach is your jam." (Received?) This is a fun thing to do, and you can get your child involved in the cooking process.

There is a wonderful recipe video for making homemade strawberry jam on the Crouton Crackerjacks YouTube page. There are only three ingredients you need; strawberries, honey, and lemon juice. It's that! The teacher of your child would also love making a jam-free of preservatives. And in winter, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy toast pieces, bagels, and PB&J sandwiches on the spot.
