17. Mason Jar Soap Dispenser
Many people like to offer soaps and body wash from Bath and Body Works to teachers, mainly because they can get great deals on Black Friday. While they are still highly appreciated, they are ultimately used up and deposited in the recycling bin. On the other hand, soap dispensers can last for years, and even if you refill them with soap from the dollar store, they still look pretty. If you know that your child's teacher likes farmhouse decor, this is particularly nice.
All you need are mason jars, chalkboard paint, and a soap pump to make these. Pre-made mason jar soap dispensers are also available to order online, and all you have to do is paint them. A ribbon and a sweet little card are included, and it is ready to go in the gift bag. Since it is made of glass, you may want to suggest wrapping it in a box. You should also only give this to an older kid who can make sure that the glass does not crack during the school bus ride.
