Have a dirty rug? We surely have some useful cleaning hacks for you! To clean an area rug, set up an outdoor work area on a sunny day. Lay the rug flat outside, and vacuum the dust and dirt off of it. Next, you need good carpet shampoo to scrub it into the rug with a brush. Once the rug is full of soap, rinse it off on full blast with a hose. Then, hang it to dry in the sun.
