11. Use Contact Paper For Privacy
The chances are that if you live on the first floor, you will have a window overlooking the parking lot. People might even be able to see into your apartment in some situations. (Yikes.) By putting contact paper on the windows, you can help to combat this. Light will still reach this way, but no one would be able to see inside.
