If you want to be eco-friendly and save money at the same time, using multi-colored microfiber cloths instead of paper towels or detergents is a good idea. In addition, instead of having to use the same one every time, you should make sure to use different cloths for each room. It helps you not to cross-contaminate areas of your home accidentally.

Besides, after cleaning with a microfiber cloth, wash them in an antiseptic solution like Lysol or put them in the washing machine in warm water mode. Don't worry about them being able to contaminate your clothes. Washing in warm water and drying them will kill anything.
