11. Disinfect Food Deliveries:
If you are picking up groceries or receiving deliveries from Amazon Prime, you should clean the cartons and packs before you bring them inside. Despite not knowing the exact amount of time the virus is present on the surface, we know that the virus can generally survive for several days. Additionally, the items have passed through each other before they reach your door; you don't know where they have been.
Even after opening the box and removing objects, you should also wipe them off. Suppliers trained the delivery thoroughly. Besides, most of them will even drop objects to the door, so you don't need to have any human contact. Yet, you can never be too careful, and you do not want to take any chances, exceptionally if you have family members at risk. It only takes a few minutes to wipe everything before they enter your home, so it's much safer than sorry.
